How many subscribers can MultiPub handle?

MultiPub can handle an unlimited number of subscribers/customers.  The database size of current MultiPub customers ranges from 5,000 customers to over 2.5 million customers.

How many publications and products can MultiPub handle?

MultiPub can handle an unlimited number of products and publications.  Current MultiPub customers are managing a wide range of products, from a single publication to thousands of one-shot products and subscription-based products.

Are products and subscriptions truly integrated in MultiPub?

Yes, unlike nearly all of our competitors, the one-shot products and subscription-based products are completely integrated.  They are even contained in the same database table to make reporting a cinch.  The system was designed from the very beginning to integrate subscription- and product-fulfillment together in one system.

What are the options for connecting MultiPub to my website?

DSI provides several different options for connecting MultiPub to your website.  Our Mult-e-commerce module allows you to connect MultiPub directly to your website using web services, .dll's, asp.net, java servlets, xml, and various other technologies.  MultiPub and Mult-e-commerce are both ODBC-compliant databases, so you may connect via ODBC to submit and retrieve data.  You may also use ASCII file transfers to import and export data.

Can I renew a daily e-zine and a monthly magazine together on one renewal notice?

Yes, you may renew multiple titles together on one renewal notice.  You simply choose the products and the expiration date range that you'd like to include and they will come out on the same renewal notice.

Can I bill for a book, a conference, and a subscription to a magazine together on one invoice?

Yes, MultiPub allows you to include multiple items together one one invoice, regardless of the type of product.

Is it easy to set-up new products?

Yes, its very easy to set-up new products, you simply utilize the wizard to complete the set-up steps.  And if you have numerous products that are similar, you may simply copy the product set-up from and existing product to the new product.

Do you have to be a programmer to understand the MultiPub database and create your own reports?

No programming knowledge is necessary to understand MultiPub and to use the MultiPub Queries.  The Queries were designed with an end-user in mind.  The database structure is simplified, and wizards guide you through the step-by-step process.
